A wet knot is harder to untie.
On my own wedding day, in March of 2025, it rained. The power went out at our venue and at some point, there was a tornado warning. But honestly, I could not care less. I just married my best friend!
However, someone told me that day, "a wet knot is harder to untie," and it stuck.
When it came to Katie and Austin, it was evident their love could weather any storm. While the ceremony was pushed back due to rain, the celebration continued! The only way I would've enjoyed this day more, is if I was a guest.
It's up for debate whether rain on your wedding day is good luck, or simply a cope. But I think it's a good testimate to how you'll weather the storm throughout the rest of your life.
